2026 Susser Bank Golf Classic

The 2026 Susser Bank Golf Classic benefiting UT MD Anderson, brought together a powerful community of clients, partners and friends in support of a mission that continues to grow in both impact and meaning.

This year, more than 136 golfers and 80+ sponsors helped raise over $354,000 to date, an increase of over $100,000 from last year’s tournament. What began as an opportunity to rally around an important cause has evolved into something much bigger through the continued generosity and commitment of friends that want to support MD Anderson’s goal to end cancer.

Proceeds from the tournament support the Belfer Neurodegeneration Consortium at MD Anderson, advancing critical research at the intersection of Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease and cancer neuroscience. The work being done by the Consortium is both meaningful and urgent, bringing together leading researchers focused on improving outcomes for patients and families facing these complex conditions.

We were also honored to host a private dinner at Catherine and Sam L. Susser’s home, featuring Dr. Peter Pisters and Dr. Jim Ray in conversation about the future of this research and the broader impact it will have for generations to come.

To everyone who sponsored, attended, volunteered and supported this event, thank you. We are especially grateful to the Susser Bank team whose hard work and dedication continue to make this event possible year after year.

We’re proud to support MD Anderson’s mission and grateful for a community that continues to show what’s possible when people come together.

Susser Bank Hosts Texas Business Hall of Fame Veteran Forum

We were honored to welcome the distinguished Veterans and business builders who have been recognized by the Texas Business Hall of Fame to our headquarters at Old Parkland East Campus for the 2026 Veteran Forum.

Hosted by our Chairman and CEO, Sam L. Susser, the day brought together an exceptional group of leaders whose experiences continue to shape the trajectory of business and leadership across Texas. We were privileged to spend time with Hall of Fame Legends Ken Fisher, Jack Martin, and David Miller, alongside Michael Gorton, Board Member of the Texas Business Hall of Fame.

The conversations throughout the day reflected a shared commitment to long-term planning, aligning strategy with culture and focusing on the rapidly changing business landscape.

At Susser Bank, we believe meaningful relationships, culture and continuous learning are foundational to long-term success. We are proud to support the Texas Business Hall of Fame and its mission to connect, recognize and inspire the next generation of Texas business leaders.
