Board Member Ron Steinhart Featured in The Dallas Morning News
For decades, Ron Steinhart has made a meaningful difference in banking, business and civic life across Texas. We are fortunate to have that experience, perspective and character represented on the Susser Bank Board of Directors.
A recent The Dallas Morning News story shares a deeply personal side of Mr. Steinhart’s remarkable life. His parents escaped Germany shortly after Kristallnacht in 1938, and Mr. Steinhart became the first American citizen born into his family. For nearly four decades, he has worked to identify and honor 40 members of his family who were killed during the Holocaust and ensure their stories are preserved for generations to come.
Today, at 86, that work continues. His commitment to remembering those who came before him, serving others and carrying those lessons forward speaks to the character and sense of responsibility that have defined his life and leadership.
We are honored to have Mr. Steinhart’s wisdom and perspective helping guide Susser Bank. His example strengthens our commitment to serve our clients and communities thoughtfully, invest in the future of Texas and never forget the lessons of history. If we do forget, these horrors are destined to repeat.
We are proud to share his remarkable story.
