2026 Susser Bank Golf Classic

The 2026 Susser Bank Golf Classic benefiting UT MD Anderson, brought together a powerful community of clients, partners and friends in support of a mission that continues to grow in both impact and meaning.

This year, more than 136 golfers and 80+ sponsors helped raise over $354,000 to date, an increase of over $100,000 from last year’s tournament. What began as an opportunity to rally around an important cause has evolved into something much bigger through the continued generosity and commitment of friends that want to support MD Anderson’s goal to end cancer.

Proceeds from the tournament support the Belfer Neurodegeneration Consortium at MD Anderson, advancing critical research at the intersection of Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease and cancer neuroscience. The work being done by the Consortium is both meaningful and urgent, bringing together leading researchers focused on improving outcomes for patients and families facing these complex conditions.

We were also honored to host a private dinner at Catherine and Sam L. Susser’s home, featuring Dr. Peter Pisters and Dr. Jim Ray in conversation about the future of this research and the broader impact it will have for generations to come.

To everyone who sponsored, attended, volunteered and supported this event, thank you. We are especially grateful to the Susser Bank team whose hard work and dedication continue to make this event possible year after year.

We’re proud to support MD Anderson’s mission and grateful for a community that continues to show what’s possible when people come together.

A New Campus for JFS Dallas, Financed by Susser Bank

Susser Bank is proud to have financed a transformative 100,000-square-foot campus for Jewish Family Service of Dallas (JFS), expanding access to critical medical, mental health, nutritional and social services. Following a recent tour, our team joined community leaders to celebrate the project’s ribbon cutting and grand opening. Cathy Barker, President and CEO of JFS, announced that the new facility will allow the organization to increase the number of clients served from 22,000 to 50,000 by 2030.

At Susser Bank, we’re proud to stand alongside our clients at every stage of their growth, helping make transformative visions a reality.

Susser Bank Director Kerry Hall Honored as Austinite of the Year

We were honored to serve as a corporate sponsor of the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting, a powerful gathering of more than 700 leaders shaping the future of the Austin region. The energy in the room reflected what makes Austin special: collaboration, ambition and a shared commitment to impact.

Most importantly, we extend our sincere congratulations to Kerry Hall, Director at Susser Bank, on being named the Austin Chamber’s 2025 Austinite of the Year. In a truly memorable moment, the Mayor of Austin made it official by presenting Kerry with a proclamation declaring the day “Kerry Hall Day” in the City of Austin.

This recognition celebrates transformational leadership and enduring service to the Austin community, qualities Kerry embodies every day through her work, advocacy and commitment to this city’s long-term success.

Susser Bank is proud to partner with the Austin Chamber and to support leaders like Kerry who are helping shape what’s next for this city we all care so deeply about.

An Evening of Gratitude: Supporting Education and Human Rights

Susser Bank, alongside Catherine and Sam L. Susser, was honored to sponsor the Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum’s Evening of Gratitude.

We believe education is foundational to building strong, just communities. Through the Museum’s programs, more than 280,000 students, 91% from low-income schools, gained access this year to critical lessons in history, empathy and moral responsibility, made possible entirely through philanthropic support.

We are grateful to support institutions that preserve history, expand access to education and help shape future generations of Upstanders. Thank you to the Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum for the meaningful work you do every day.

Giving Back Across Texas This Holiday Season

Susser Bank team members across Texas came together with a shared purpose this holiday season: giving back to the communities we’re proud to serve.

Our teams dedicated their time and energy to make a meaningful difference by supporting families through the Tarrant Area Food Bank and the Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign in DFW, caring for animals at the City of San Antonio Animal Care Services, creating birthday moments for children in foster care in Austin, assisting the Round Rock Police Department’s Operation Blue Santa in Round Rock, and joining The Periwinkle Foundation’s annual walk in Houston to support children, young adults, and families facing cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.

Giving back isn’t seasonal; it’s part of how we show up for our communities every day.
