J.C. Pritchard serves as Senior Vice President, Director of Mortgage Banking at Susser Bank, where he provides strategic leadership across the bank’s mortgage banking division, including mortgage sales and support teams. He is responsible for shaping the division’s vision, driving operational excellence, optimizing capital markets strategies and overseeing product development and execution to deliver superior results for clients and shareholders.
With more than 30 years of experience in the mortgage industry, Mr. Pritchard brings deep expertise in compliance, operational management and capital markets, coupled with a proven ability to lead high performing teams across retail and wholesale channels. He maintains strong relationships with Government Sponsored Enterprises (GSEs) and investors, leveraging his knowledge to optimize pricing, hedging and overall division performance.
Prior to joining Susser Bank in 2023, Mr. Pritchard served as Executive Vice President, Head of Capital Markets for Keller Mortgage in Dallas, where he managed a wide range of activities, including pricing, hedging, and margins and revenue optimization for both retail and wholesale operations. He previously served as Senior Vice President, Director of Capital Markets, for Texas Capital Bank, leading a team managing approximately $30 billion in secondary market volume.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Pritchard held several key positions including, Senior Vice President, Secondary Marketing for Highlands Residential Mortgage in Dallas, where he was responsible for overseeing all activities related to pricing and hedging. He also served as Senior Vice President, Secondary Marketing, for Great Western Financial Services in Plano and Senior Vice President, Margin Management, for Bank of America in Plano. He began his financial career with Netbank, F.S.B, in Columbia, South Carolina.
Mr. Pritchard earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of South Carolina.
He resides in Frisco, Texas, with his wife and three children.
